CHRISTMAS TIME... HURRAY!

HELLO!
CHRISTMAS SEASON IS ALWAYS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR AT MONTJUÏC SCHOOL.
DAYS LEADING UP TO THE HOLIDAYS ARE ALWAYS BUSY AND STRESSFUL: CHRISTMAS CRAFTS, POEMS, CAROLS, CANTATA...
AND OF COURSE, AT OUR SCHOOL, CHILDREN ALSO LEARN LOTS OF THINGS ABOUT CHRISTMAS TIME, SUCH AS VOCABULARY, EXPRESSIONS, RIDDLES AND SO ON.
HERE YOU ARE THE BASIC VOCABULARY OUR KIDS LEARN... MAYBE EVERYBODY CAN PRACTISE IT ON THIS BLOG :-)

THIS TIME PRIMARY 5 KIDS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON PLACES: CITIES, TOWN AND VILLAGES. THEY HAVE BEEN LEARNING SOME SHOPS' NAMES, AND HOW TO DESCRIBE A CITY, WHAT THERE IS IN THE CITY, THEIR FAVOURITE PLACE AND HOW DO PEAOPLE TRAVEL IN THE CITY.
OUR TOWN IS GIRONA, A BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN CATALONIA.

HOW ARE YOU DOING?
THIS TIME PRIMARY-2 KIDS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON FACE DESCRIPTIONS. THEY HAVE BEEN PRACTISING HOW TO DESCRIBE A FACE, A FUNNY CLOWN'S FACE: "HE'S GOT A YELLOW FACE, PURPLE EARS, BLUE EYES, A BIG RED NOSE AND A BIG ORANGE MOUNTH." FOR EXAMPLE... AND WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO SO, THEY HAVE DRAWN AND COLOURED THEIR OWN FUNNY CLOWN'S FACE AND DESCRIBED THEM ORALLY IN FRONT OF THEIR CLASSMATES.

PRIMARY 4.- UNIT-2.- THE WEATHER. MY FAVOURITE WEATHER :-)

HI THERE! HOW ARE YOU TODAY? THIS IS DANIEL AGAIN INTRODUCING PRIMARY 4 KIDS' ACTIVITIES :-)
WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE TODAY? DO YOU LIKE SUNNY DAYS, OR MAYBE SNOW?
PRIMARY 4 KIDS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THE WEATHER AND THEY FINALY DECIDED TO WRITE ABOUT THEIR FAVOURITE WEATHER.
THEY HAVE PRACTISED WEATHER VOCABULARY AND EXPRESSIONS AS WELL AS DESCRIBING WHAT THE WEATHER IS LIKE IN EVERY SESSION.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMAL? DO YOU LIKE ANIMALS? DO YOU KNOW WHERE THEY LIVE, WHAT THEY EAT, IF THEY ARE PREDATORS OR PREYS..?
PRIMARY 5 KIDS HAVE STUDIED THESE TOPICS AND HAVE WRITTEN SHORT COMPOSITIONS DESCRIBING THEIR FAVOURITE ANIMAL. AND THE BEST OF ALL! YOU CAN GUESS THE ANIMAL IT IS, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WRITE THE NAME, JUST SOME HINTS ABOUT EACH ANIMAL :-)
IT'S A GOOD WAY TO PRACTISE 3rd. PERSON SINGULAR PRESENT SIMPLE AS WELL AS SOME MORE VOCAB AND PREPOSITIONS.

HELLO THERE AGAIN!
THIS IS DANIEL, YOUR BLOG FRIEND.
AFTER A SILENT MONTH ON THIS BLOG, PRIMARY 6 KIDS WANTS YOU TO SHOW THEIR DESCRIPTIONS ABOUT THEIR FRIDGES. THESE ARE DESCRIPTIONS IN FACT TO BUID A GAME, A GUESSING GAME...
