PRIMARY-6.- UNIT-3: WONDERS OF THE WORLD :-) COMING SOON!

CAN YOU NAMEANY WONDER OF THE WORLD? A NATURAL WONDER? A MAN-MADE WONDER?

PRIMARY 6 BOYS AND GIRLS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS TOPIC. THEY HAD TO STUDY LOTS OF ADJECTIVES, THEIR COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE FORMS AND THE STRUCTURES TO EXPRESS COMPARISONS.

THEY GOOGGLED ON THE NET INORDER TO FIND THE INFORMATION FOR MAKING COMPARISONS ABOUT TO NATURAL OR MAN-MADE WONDERS OF THE WORLD.

THIS IS JUST A SAMPLE OF WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING ON WORD PROCESSING SKILLS.

KL118 VS THE SHANGHAI TOWER

KL118 is a skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and it is 610 metres high. It has 118 floors and 87 elevators. The idea of construction was proposed in 2010.

The Shang-hai Tower is a skyscraper located in Pudong, Shang-hai, and it is 632 metres high. It has 121 floors and 106 elevators. The idea of construction was proposed in 2008.

So, The Shangai Tower is higher than KL118.

AFTER THIS INTERESTING WORK, THE KIDS HAS TO TALK ABOUT WHAT THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT THE TWO WONDERS, USING THE INTERACTIVE WHITE BOARD, TO SHOW THE CLASSMATES SOME IMAGES WHILE THEY ARE SPEAKING.

BUT THIS ACTIVITY IS COMING SOON... WAIT AND SEE :-)
