PRIMARY 5 & 6.- AUTUMN SEASON: LET'S RECITE A POEM! :-)

HELLO THERE GUYS!
HAVE YOU EVER LEARNED A POEM IN ENGLISH? PRIMARY 5 AND 6 DID. THEY WORKED ON A POEM CALLED "AUTUMN LEAVES" BY LELAND B. JACOBS, AND THEY LISTENED TO IT, THEY UNDERSATOOD IT THROUGH PICTURES, THEY LEARNED TO READ THE POEM AND THEN THEY STARTED TO LEARN IT BY HEART... THAT IS THEY LEARNED TO RECITE THE POEM.
THEY ALSO DREW PICTURES IN ORDER TO ILLUSTRATE THE POEM AND THEY EVEN GOOGLED ON THE NET AND FOUND OTHER AUTUMN POEMS, WHICH THEY COPIED, TRIED TO UNDERSTAND AND ALSO ILLUSTRATE.
BUT THE AIM OF ALL THESE ACTIVITIES WAS TO RECITE THE POEM TAKING PART IN A COMPETITION ON POEM RECITAL. AND SO WE DID...
THEY VOTE FOR THE BEST CLASSMATE TO SAY THE POEM AND IN A FEW DAYS WE WILL HAVE THE RESULTS :-)
IN THE MEANTIME I LET YOU KNOW THE POEM AND SEE SOME IMAGES TAKEN DURING THE CONTEST.
ENJOY THEM :-)
THIS IS THE POEM:
Autumn Leaves

      Green leaves,
      Yellow leaves,
      Red leaves, and brown,
ALL Falling,
ALL Falling,
ALL Blanketing the town.
      Oak leaves,
      Maple leaves,
      Apple leaves, and pear,
ALL Falling,
ALL Whispering,
ALL “Autumn’s in the air!”
      Big leaves,
      Little leaves,
      Pointed leaves, and round,
